WARRINGTON Borough Council is helping to raise awareness during this week’s ‘Eating disorders awareness week’.
The council’s executive board member for health and wellbeing and adult services, clr Pat Wright said it is important for people to know what health information is available and how they can get support.
She added: “Eating disorders aren’t just faddy eating or diets gone wrong, they’re serious mental health problems.
“If you think that you or someone you know might have an eating disorder then it’s important to get help and support.”
