BUSINESS students stepped out of the classroom and into the kitchen to raise money for Alder Hey Hospital.
The team of AS Level learners at Priestley College raised nearly £100 for Alder Hey after selling cake pops and sweets to fellow students and tutors.
Former Tower College pupil Megan Gilbert, from Chapelford, baked the cakes after the team agreed that would be the best way to make a profit.
She said: “We all put in £1.50 to start off the business and were given the option of having that back, but no one did because we wanted it to go to Alder Hey.”
