FIRE crews had to cut the roof off a car to free a disabled man trapped inside after it overturned on Manchester Road in Woolston.
Emergency services were called at 8.35am this morning, Thursday, and found the vehicle on a grass verge near to the Premier Inn.
A Cheshire Fire spokesman said: "Crews stabilised the vehicle and prepared to rescue the casualty.
"He was put on a long board in the care of paramedics."
It is not thought the man's injuries are serious.
Our photographer Mike Boden has been at the scene and captured these images of the crews' efforts.
