PUPILS at Penketh Community Primary School stepped back in time for a special history day.
After learning during the last term about a variety of topics from the past, youngsters dressed for the era including year six pupils donning outfits children during the Second World War would have worn.
Teachers said they were delighted to see pupils and parents go to such great efforts.
