A WARRINGTON firm is continuing to help save the lives of African villagers after forming a partnership with a local charity.

AquAid water coolers donated more than £350,000 in the past year to Christian Aid specifically for water-related projects.

Ian Flannery, managing director of AquAid, said: "It gives us great encouragement to think that while people are drinking our water, we are also helping to save the lives of people on the other side of the world."

Sarah Gaskin of Christian Aid said "We are grateful to AquAid for all their efforts in making a difference to people's lives."

The partnership means that for every 19 litre bottle of water firms buy, 30 pence is donated to Christian Aid for water-related projects in Africa.
