A BODYBUILDER fell to his death trying to climb in through his girlfriend’s window after a row, an inquest heard.

Davey Fallon, aged 20, died from serious head injuries after falling from the second floor of partner Leanne Chadwick’s home on Larkspur Grove, Saxon Park.

She said: "“As I looked towards the window I saw a white vest and said what are you doing?”

“Then he just went.

"One minute he was there and the next he wasn’t.”

Neighbours reported seeing him climb on a wheelie bin, and then onto the roof of a porch to reach the bedroom window in the early hours of July 7 last year.

A Cheshire Police officer and paramedics tried to save him after he fell and hit the pavement outside of the property.

Despite being rushed to the trauma unit at Warrington Hospital emergency teams attempts to treat him failed.

The death of Mr Fallon was ruled as misadventure at Warrington Coroner’s Court on Tuesday.

He had been enjoying a day out with and Ms Chadwick and her friends at the Glastonferry festival at Fiddlers Ferry on July 6 last year.

The inquest heard they had lived together for around a year, but a row saw her leave without him at around 10.30pm.

Friends, who told the inquest Mr Fallon was ‘very drunk’, advised him to go to his mothers in Newton-le-Willows.

A toxicology report showed ‘traces’ of cocaine in his system at the time of death, although Ms Chadwick said he was not a regular user.

Dr Alan Moore, Deputy Coroner for Cheshire, agreed the drug use was ‘out of character’, but said effects were likely to have played a role in his death.

He said: “One of the effects of cocaine is increasing confidence.

“One of the others is increasing risk-taking.

“We know that Davey climbs onto the roof to get to the window.

“That was clearly a risk.”

Dad David Fallon, who named his son based on a nickname he had in the Army, said he ‘lived life to the full’.

Ms Chadwick said she loved how he was with her and her son, and that they had a ‘happy relationship’.
