POLICE are appealing for information after a teenager was knocked down in a hit and run incident on Europa Boulevard in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The 18-year-old man suffered minor injuries including cuts, grazes and bruising in the collision at 12.05am.
Police say he was walking with a group of friends towards McDonalds.
The car is described as a small, dark-coloured vehicle, believed to be a new shape Renault Clio.
Its driver did not stop and drove off towards Martin Dawes.
There were two males in the front of the car, according to officers, who are appealing for them to come forward.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 7 of February 8, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
