WITH Fairtrade Fortnight on the horizon campaigners in the town have been making sure there are no banana skins to trip up their campaign to raise awareness.


Members of the Warrington Fair Trade Group donned banana outfits to help spread the message of a petition which it is encouraging people to sign calling on all supermarkets to sell only fairly traded bananas.


Fairtrade Fortnight runs from Monday, February 24 to Sunday, March 9 and this year will focus on the banana trade.
