A COUNCILLOR got stuck into the fun as part of Dignity Action Day.

Clr Pat Wright, executive board member for health and wellbeing and adult services, joined up with staff and residents at Woolston Hall for activities including Wii ten pin bowling.

There were also pamper sessions offering manicures and pedicures.

Clr Wright said: “Dignity Action Day highlights the importance of dignity and respect in providing care, whether in hospitals and care homes, in people’s own homes or through other community services.

“Dignity Action Day is a reminder that dignity is everyone's business, and that we all need dignity and respect the whole year round.”
