POLICE have launched a crack down on drug dealing in Bewsey and Dallam.

Officers at Warrington West NPU say they have received an increase in drug related reports in the area with dealer seen making street deals.

As a result warrants have been carried out in the last month.

Police say two men were arrested during a raid on Folley Lane on January 7 after heroin was found.

Gary Marshall, aged 47, from Liverpool; and Shawn Taylor, aged 44, from Latchford, have been charged with conspiracy to supply heroin.

A 37-year-old man has also been arrested following a raid on Lander Close, Old Hall, when a small amount of cannabis was found.

Officers say a large cannabis farm was found at a house on Cavendish Close last month.

Three rooms were filled with plants.

A 37-year-old man has been arrested and bailed.

And on January 27, a man was stopped and arrested on Longshaw Street.

Anthony Butterworth is due at Halton Magistrates Court on February 24 charged with possession of cannabis.

PC Alison Ball said more warrants are planned in Bewsey and Dallam to target drug dealing and anti-social behaviour.

She said: “We need more interaction from the public and we urge them to report issues to us as much as possible.

“We need them to report to us so we can deter and disrupt drug activity.”

Cannabis...for gods sake, can you spend my tax money on arresting criminals burglarizing houses, beating girls up in bars, vandalising our streets instead of some fool with little in their lives than to sit in their homes and smoke an smelly bit of nature that makes them love the world and want to tree hug.

How about increasing police salaries with the savings so you wouldn't have to hire corporate thugs who make up lies against peaceful anti-fraking protesters. (for those who have not seen the video just google "police thug lies fracking" for youtuve...disgrace) maybe get some more coppers with a bit of inteligence because as the years go by theyre getting more and more dumb.
