STUDENTS at the University of Chester have stepped back in time to organise a vintage fair and fun day in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research.

Home-baked treats are on the menu with plenty of old-fashioned games to keep visitors entertained.

Organised by the university's events management students, the fundraiser will include retro-themed activities and traditional games such as coconut shies, as well as a selection of stalls selling everything from cakes to clothing and jewellery.

The event takes place on Sunday in the sports hall at the Padgate Campus between 11am and 3pm.

Admission is £3 on the door and includes a free hot or cold drink and slice of cake.
