SCOUTS from Warrington joined more than 300 from across the region for a wintercamp in the worst weather.
They took part in Quadbiking, tomahawk throwing, laser tag, snowboarding, iceskating and climbing at the Linnet Clough Scout Campsite in Stockport - despite torrential rain and thunderstorms.
Starting on Friday night and finishing up on Sunday afternoon, the campsite was reduced to a mud bath as Explorer Scouts pitched their tents and met up with old and new friends.
Sarah Jackson, a Scout from Phoenix Explorer Scout Unit in Warrington, said “We’ve just done quadbiking and it was amazing!”.
