THE Warrington Conservative Future group has selected the Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation for Peace as its charity of the year.
The organisation will support the Great Sankey based group in any way it can during the next year.
Sam Baxter, WCF chairman, said: “The Foundation for Peace does tremendous work to support young people to turn away from violence, and it works to build stronger communities without prejudice and discrimination.
“Through this, the foundation equips people with the skills to use their traumatic experience in order to do something positive, for their own wellbeing and to help their communities.
“I’m delighted that WCF members recognise the good work being done by the Foundation for Peace.”
