CHESHIRE’S Crime Commisioner is calling for volunteers to help him collect the public’s views on police.

John Dwyer, Police and Crime Commisioner for Cheshire, wants 12 volunteers from across the county to ‘gather feedback’.

He said: “I’m looking for people who don’t mind putting themselves out there, and asking people their opinions about policing.

“Last year over 1000 surveys were completed to inform my police and crime plan.

“I hope the volunteers will help me to reach more residents increasing the amount of feedback I get, helping me to make better informed decisions."

Volunteers will attend a minimum of four consultation events They must be aged over of 16, and will be required to attend each event for a maximum of three hours.
