Four weeks of roadworks start on Battersby Lane
RESIDENTS have been warned to expect delays with major roadworks due to start on Battersby Lane today, Monday.
It will see the road resurfaced from Cockhedge Green roundabout to Marsh House Lane, and the construction of raised bus stops.
The council says work will be carried out between 9.15am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
It is expected to take four weeks.
Traffic will be diverted via Marsh House Lane, Padgate Lane, and Manchester Road; or Orford Lane and Lythgoes Lane.
Both routes will be signed.
