A DATE has been set for a husband and wife who ran a £12m cocaine ring to find out their fate.

Sentencing for Richard Brookhouse, aged 45, and Diane Brookhouse, aged 42, is due to start on Monday, January 27.

The case will be heard at Warrington Crown Court by Judge Nicholas Woodward.

All 18 members of the drugs gang, that imported large weights of cocaine from France, will be sentenced with an estimated time of two weeks.

Mrs Brookhouse, of Coronation Avenue, and Mr Brookhouse, in prison since 2003 for running a separate £15m drugs operation, are expected to be dealt with first.

The mum-of-two was convicted by majority verdict on December 20 following a 10 week trial.

She was found guilty of conspiring to supply cocaine, methylmethcathinone and diamorphine between May 15, 2012 and April 7, 2013.

Mr Brookhouse, who ran the conspiracy, pleaded guilty to the same charges.
