THE premiere of a film capturing the town’s Rugby League World Cup adventure is set to take place at Pyramid Arts Centre.
Students and staff at the University of Chester’s Padgate campus worked together with Culture Warrington and Warrington’s Rugby League World Cup Steering Group to provide a lasting reminder of the festivities.
Highlights include a school children’s rendition of the Haka to welcome the Samoan team, the trophy tour around the town and highlights from two of the most outstanding games of the tournament.
The film, titled Warrington’s World Cup, will be shown to the public for the first time on Thursday, January 23 at 7pm. To register your place, e-mail kpickavant1@culturewarrington.org or call 442884.
