POLICE are investigating after a home on Delery Drive was broken into today, Tuesday.

Officers were called at 4.55am to reports of a burglary.

A rear door was forced to the home, with intruders ransacking the kitchen hunting for valuables.

Police say an iPad was stolen.

It is believed the burglars left through a rear garden travelling along the railway line.

The burglary is the latest to be reported in the town, with numerous others taking place over the weekend.

Police are warning residents to ensure doors and windows are locked, and to use security lights.
