STAFF at the Alzheimer’s Society are warning people with memory problems to speak to their GP about dementia following a surge in phone calls to its helpline.
One in three people over 65 will develop dementia, which is a set of symptoms that may include memory loss, difficulties with thinking, problem-solving or language.
Call the helpline on 0300 222 1122 for more information.
