PLANS for a new cycle path which will provide a link from Westbrook through to Dallam have been proposed by the council.
The new path will provide crucial links which will connect residents in the areas into education, employment and leisure sites.
The council are set to consult local residents to gauge their views on the proposals.
Clr Linda Dirir, who is executive member for highways, transportation and climate change, said, “We hope this new scheme will give residents in these areas more access to local business parks and education.”
“The new path will also help reduce congestion in the area and encourage people to take up healthier forms of transport.”
Consultation with residents runs until Friday, February 7.
Drop in sessions take place at Orfod Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub onThursday, from 2pm until 7pm and on Friday, January 24 at Westbrook Library from 2pm until 7pm.
