MAKE lifestyle changes that can lead to improved health and wellbeing is the message during National Obesity Awareness Week over the next seven days.
The annual campaign week is encouraging people in Warrington to make a pledge towards ‘one to two simple and sustainable changes to eating and exercise habits that can lead to long term benefits’.
Statistics have found 35.7 per cent of adults are overweight and 19.3 per cent of adults are obese in the town.
While obesity rates in reception children in the last year were 7.8 per cent and in year six children 16.7 per cent which is below England and north west average figures.
