FLOOD warnings have been put in place for parts of Warrington.
The Environment Agency has put in the warning for Chester Road between Brian Bevan Island and Arpley Railway Bridge and Arpley Road.
Council officers say sandbags have been deployed to known locations including the Ferry Tavern in Penketh - which was hit badly by flooding last month.
And the council says sandbags are also ready to be deployed as required for any overnight requests or issues that may arise later on this evening.
