A GROUP of 200 bikers spread a little bit of Christmas joy on Saturday when they dished out hundreds of presents to newborns at the Special Care Baby Unit at Warrington Hospital.
Members of the Taliesin Brotherhood bike club, who organised the event, hopped onto their bikes to raise as much money as possible for the hospital department when they took a tour of Warrington on their bikes and scooters.
Each biker also generously donated a present with the sack full of gifts presented to the hospital at the end of the charity bike ride along with a £300 donation.
Biker Rick Petch said: “This is the first time we have ever organised everything and we hope this won’t be the last.
“We want to be able to turn it into an annual event.”
Other biker groups involved in the charity ride inlcuded the Widnes and Warrington Scooter Club and Phase Three Scooter Club.
