150 people in Cheshire waiting for a transplant
THERE are 159 people in Cheshire waiting for a transplant this Christmas, according to latest figures from NHS Blood and Transplant.
The organisation is now calling on residents to talk to their families over the festive period about their decision to be an organ donor after 46 people in Cheshire died in the last five years due to a shortage of organs.
