A DEPOT employee was tied up by a gang of men during a raid on Gemini Retail Park.

Police were called at 5.56am today, Tuesday, to the DHL depot on Europa Court, Europa Boulevard following reports of a robbery.

A number of offenders entered the premises shortly after 4.15am and stole cash.

The male employee was tied up, suffering minor facial injuries, to be found by a colleague shortly before 6am.

He was taken to Warrington Hospital for treatment.

Police are appealing for information.

DC Tracey Earley said: “Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area between 2.45am and 6am should contact police in order to help us with our enquiries.”

One of the offenders is described as white, 6ft tall and of stocky build.

He wore a black woolley hat, black cloth mask and dark zip up jacket, black pants and gloves.

Another is described as olive skinned, 5ft 10ins tall and of medium build.

He was wearing a black baseball cap, his face was covered with a black scarf which had a red electrical lightening flash on it, and dark clothing.
