YOUNGSTERS from a national charity got to meet Father Christmas on a trip to Walton Hall’s Winter Wonderland during a charity trip.
Families who are helped by HemiChat paid a visit to see Santa on a festive trip.
HemiChat is a new charity for people with hemiplegia formed by mother Gillian Hayes who struggled to receive a diagnosis for her son Luke.
Hemiplegia can have many causes, with the most common being a stroke in the womb, during birth or soon after.
It is a type of cerebral palsy resulting in paralysis on one side of the body.
Gillian said: “These outings are a great opportunity to bring together the families so that we can share our experiences and the progress of our children and have some fun as well.”
HemiChat is run on a voluntary basis by parents of children living with hemiplegia.
