SHOPPERS and businesses in Warrington were given a visit from the Secret Santa Squad on Thursday.

The squad visited Golden Square, distributing packs which included scratch cards to be used as presents, after a National Lottery Scratchcards survey revealed that 83 per cent of people take part in Secret Santa activity with their work colleagues each December.

And while Secret Santa generally creates feelings of positivity, making people feel Christmassy (37 per cent), happy (25 per cent) and excited (23 per cent), – almost one quarter also feel pressured to get it right and one fifth say they never know what to buy.
