MEET our RSPCA pet of the week.
Due to funding problems, the Slutchers Lane centre now only takes cruelty cases but still has a handful of pets looking for homes.
Eight-year-old Charley is the last of the cats in need of a loving home and staff say she responds well to a ‘gentle approach’.
A spokesman added: “As yet she is not totally at ease with too much attention and we feel that Charley will be a lot happier in a home environment.”
