SIX men have been charged in connection to a string of bank raids including one in Birchwood.
Merseyside Police said today, Wednesday, the men have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, and conspiracy to cause explosions, between January 30 and December 10.
Kurt Beddoes, aged 31, from Liverpool; Ian Ellis, aged 29, from Rainhill; Craig Cartwright, aged 39, from Coventry; Anthony Bushell, aged 29, of no fixed abode; Gary Keating, aged 29, from Knowsley and Thomas Whittingham, aged 27, from Liverpool will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court tomorrow, Thursday.
Beddoes and Ellis have already appeared in court in connection to the investigation.
The men were allegedly involved in 30 burglaries and attempted burglaries of cash machines.
One incident happened at Barclays on Dewhurst Road in September when money was stolen from an ATM.
