POLICE are appealing for information after teenagers travelling home from a party in Lymm were assaulted on a private coach.

The incident happen on Sunday when officers were called to the coach, which was travelling to Birchwood, by several passengers.

Police say a drunk man, who was not part of the trip, attacked four teenagers.

Officers believe there may be more victims who have yet to come forward.

Sgt Darren Burns, of Warrington East NPU, said: “Cheshire police are continuing to speak with other potential victims and witnesses and would like to hear from any other individuals that may have been injured during this or indeed, witnessed the incident.”

Lewis Walker, aged 22, of no fixed abode, has been charged in connection to the incident.

He pleaded guilty to four counts of assault and one public order offence at Halton Magistrates Court on Monday.

Walker is due to be sentenced on January 2.
