AN early version of the keyboard 329 years old has been restored and used in a concert at Lymm High School.
The virginal, an instrument popular during the late Renaissance, will now feature in an exhibition at Warrington Museum’s art gallery.
It was played for the first time in more than 30 years during the school recital on Thursday.
The performance was recorded and will be used with the exhibit.
To see the virginal visit the new Cabinet of Curiosities gallery which opens in at Warrington Museum on January 24.
