BIRCHWOOD based children's charity, Brainwave, received a cash boost following its annual fundraising dinner at The Mere Golf Resort & Spa near Knutsford.
More than £10,000 was raised on the night - raising vital money for the charity.
More than one hundred guests rubbed shoulders with celebrities such as ITV's Coronation Street actress Clare McGlinn. Guests enjoyed a champagne reception, three course meal, live entertainment and a prize draw which saw winners scoop a trip to New York courtesy of British Airways, a weekend in London and a weekend break with a spa day at The Mere.
