A WIGAN Warriors fan has swallowed his pride to raise money and help raise awareness for men’s cancer by dyeing his ‘tache in the Warrington Wolves colours.
Paul Hodson, from Callands, vowed to dye his moustache primrose and blue if he reached his target of £200 for Movember.
If he reached £300, he promised to wear a Wolves shirt, much to his Wire-supporting friends’ amusement.
The target of £300 was smashed within weeks and, unfortunately for Paul, he had to bite the bullet and don the Wolves kit.
The 28-year-old joked: “I will be wearing by Wigan shirt underneath the Warrington so it never touches my skin.
“I am an Wigan fan through and through so it was difficult to actually put the Wolves shirt on.”
Members of Paul’s family have battled with cancer in recent years and added that he would do it all over again to raise money for prostate cancer.
