Sorry for the off topic, I'm trying to comment on the story 'banned councillor says questions will not go away quietly' but I'm unable to. Is anyone else having the same problem? Thanks in advance

Thanks. The questions will go away if the Warrington Guardian have a role to play. Is it a Labour Party pamphlet? This is what happens to politicians when they remove the checks and balances of a free press, they stop worrying about how they behave. It's a sad day when the press have to stifle opinion by removing access to discussion. Probably more freedom of speech in china than Warrington at the moment. Here I am again hijacking an unrelated post. Apologies to all who came to read about Primark... They've taken your newspaper's teeth, this isn't going to end well

Ghostwriter and PageA - you have to wonder whether it's the local Labour administration at Kafka House applying pressure on the WG (perhaps they will be denied Press status and coverage or Council meetings if they don't toe the line??), or if others within the Council are using their delegated powers.
Apologies to all Primark fans for the intrusion.

"Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy sh*t we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. "

We haven't all been raised to think that SickAndTired2, some of us are working hard to make the best for ourselves and our families. Some of us are trying to learn and build and enjoy our short time on this planet.
Have you smoked a fat one today?

PageA, The one who doesn't break any laws and is an upstanding pillar of the Warrington community actually knows what a " smoked a fat one today" means. Me wonders if PageA is a secret law breaker as they seem to know the lingo??? The law! easy to follow and comment about with words? not easy to abide by though is it PageA?
