CULCHETH turned back time to the days when the start of Christmas was heralded with roasted chesnuts for sale.
The Culcheth Victorian Day was a big hit with crowds who turned out to enjoy a day filled with fairground rides, Santa’s grotto and Christmas lights switch on.
The day is primarily organised by charity Birchwood Lions, with support from Culcheth and Glazebury Parish Council.
And all the money raised goes towards good causes, including financial support for the local pensioners Christmas party.
