WARRINGTON will mark Real Lancashire Day with an event with a difference on Wednesday.
There will be a reading of the Lancashire Day Proclamation in the town centre from 11am.
It is held to commemorate the date in 1295 when the first elected representatives from the county were summoned to Westminster.
And it celebrates the county boundaries from the Mersey at Warrington in the south to the Rivers Brathay and Duddon in the north.
