Pensioner remains in serious condition after High Legh crash

POLICE have confirmed an 86-year-old woman remains in a serious condition after a crash in High Legh on Monday.
As previously reported in the Warrington Guardian, her car collided with a HGV on the A50 Knutsford Road, at the High Legh junction with the B5159 West Lane, near High Legh Village Hall.
Two people were in the car and were taken to Wythenshawe hospital.
An 87-year-old man, who was driving, suffered serious injuries but they are not considered life-threatening.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 356 of 14 October.
