Former world champion kick boxer Bill Wallace visited the Pak Mei Wu Chi Yun Kung Fu School at Gig Lane, Woolston, to give a rare training seminar on Wednesday night.
The school, which is ran by Kung Fu Grandmaster John Blackledge, was put through their paces by Wallace as they were taught various professional kickboxing techniques.
Mr Blackledge said: “It was brilliant to have him, he is such a credit to the sport and he made it a very enjoyable experience.
“In the short time that he spent with us, he shared a lot of his knowledge and everyone walked away having learnt something.
“We would definitely welcome him back, hopefully it will be in May next year.”
During his career Bill Wallace earned the nickname ‘Superfoot’ because of his fast left kick, which helped him win the kickboxing world middleweight title remain undefeated in 23 straight fights.
