Craft shop to open at museum

WARRINGTON Museum & Art Gallery has dedicated one of its refurbished galleries to exhibiting and selling contemporary British craft.
The new craft shop is located in the WREN gallery and will stock work by nationally renowned craft makers, as well as showcasing the skill of local makers.
Heather Fox, a local jeweller has teamed up with the museum to create this new venture as part of the third Warrington Contemporary Arts Festival.
Heather started making jewellery in 2004 while studying for a degree in applied arts, jewellery and metalwork. She set up her business in 2007 as part of her studies and has since exhibited at various shows and galleries across the country.
The British Contemporary Craft shop will open Saturday, October 18.
