THE team behind Warrington’s volunteers for this year’s Rugby League World Cup have announced the business who will supply kits for the autumn event.
Altrincham-based Chadwick Textiles has been selected to provide the outfits for the 59 people who have signed up to direct people to the stadium and organising community activities on game days in October and November.
Joel Chadwick, owner Chadwick Textiles, said: “Chadwick textiles are delighted to be associated with the Warrington RLWC 2013 host town campaign.
“Rugby league is an important part of our textile and teamwear business these days and we have many rugby brand customers throughout Europe and in the north of England.“ Jan Souness is chairman of the local RLWC2013 consortium.
She said: “We are extremely pleased to have Chadwicks on board to supply the kits for our local volunteers. With less than a month to go until the first match in Warrington, plans for match days have been put in place and we can’t wait to see the town centre come to life.”
