These men toughed it out to find out who is the strongest during a competition in Woolston.
The Dog and Partridge pub on Manchester Road played host to the Olympic Dragons Strongman event on Saturday.
It saw contestants carry Atlas Stones weighing up to 190kg, pull sledges and lift Olympic bars stacked with weights.
Shane Jerman, from Lancaster, triumphed on the day with the best overall score from each round.
Money was raised during the event for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
Michelle Hennigan, aged 34, of Sandy Lane, Orford, organised the collection with £270 raised so far.
Dad Michael Hennigan was diagnosed with the disease three years ago.
She said: “There was a really good turnout and we are made up.
“I got to speak to people about motor neurone disease which a lot of people don’t know about until it affects someone in your family.”
