STUDENT satisfaction at the University of Chester, which has a campus in Padgate, has reached an all-time high, a survey has revealed.
According to this year’s National Student Survey, the university was ranked joint second for overall satisfaction with a score of 88 per cent - two per cent above the sector average.
Individual subjects have also excelled at national level among the 154 UK higher education institutions surveyed.
Three subjects were ranked in the top five with psychology and media studies coming in third and tourism, transport and travel in fifth in their sectors.
Professor Tim Wheeler, the university’s vice-chancellor, said: “The university prides itself on putting students first and the NSS figures, which speak for themselves, are a tribute to the university’s staff, who always aspire to the very highest standards.
“Our performance has risen incrementally since the NSS began in 2005.
“This coincides with a time when all other institutions are also raising their game, so the latest achievement is doubly significant.”
All final years from every UK higher education institution are invited to participate in the survey.
