Mum's TV Day-Break
2:10pm Wednesday 14th August 2013 in News
A MUM, who works in Chapelford, was thrown into the spotlight on Thursday as Daybreak bosses asked her to share her views on pregnant women in work.
More than one in four mothers feel discriminated against at work, according to a new study.
But co-owner of Sculpt hair salon Rae Carr said her business employs a number of women of child-bearing age and gives them the support they need.
The mum to Brodie, aged four, added: “We talked about women in small businesses who might feel under-valued when they return to work.
“At Sculpt we have 12 girls and as a mum myself I think more businesses should encourage women back to work.”
