DEPUTY First Minister in Northern Ireland Martin McGuinness will be speaking at the Peace Centre’s annual peace lecture in September.
The evening, on September 18, will also include speeches from former BBC Northern Ireland political correspondent Denis Murray and Tim Parry Johnathan Ball Foundation chairman Colin Parry.
Colin added: "Part of our ethos is that we talk to everyone.
“We don't just talk to victims of terrorism we also talk to people who have been associated with terrorist acts, in simple terms; you make peace with your enemies, not with your friends.
“Mr McGuinness' past would have placed him beyond the pale for many people but not for me and my foundation."
The event is ticket only and cost £20 each which includes refreshments.
