Man cut from car after Warburton crash

A DRIVER had to be cut from his car following a crash in Warburton this morning.
Police were called to Paddock Lane at 7.15am today, Tuesday, where a Vauxhall Astra and Volkswagen Passat were involved in a collision.
A man was cut from his car and taken to Warrington Hospital with an injury to his neck.
A woman was also taken to hospital with a wrist injury, although police say neither are thought to be serious.
Paddock Lane was closed in both directions following the accident.
It is now open again.
