Trust named one of best in UK

GOLDEN Gates Housing Trust bosses have been celebrating after being named one of the top 100 not-for-profit companies to work for in the UK for the first time.

The town centre-based social housing provider reached number 77 in the Sunday Times list from more than 800 entries.

Peter Mercer, chief executive, said: “It is great to receive this accolade and to know that our staff feel so proud to work for the organisation.

“We have invested heavily in the last 12 months in staff training and internal communications and the results show the impact that this has made.”

Results are compiled from an independent staff survey, which uses eight key factors including leadership and how good the company is.
