Warrington smokers used to 'swap ash for cash'

Say no to smoking Say no to smoking

SMOKERS in the town are being encouraged to ‘swap ash for cash’ on Wednesday during the 30th anniversary of No Smoking Day.

Figures have found 20.4 per cent of adults smoke in Warrington and could save £7 a day, £49 a week or £2,555 a year if they quit.

Dianne Clarke, LiveWire’s health and wellbeing manager, said: “One of the biggest incentives for smokers to quit comes from considering the real amount of money they spend on cigarettes and thinking about what themselves and their family could afford if they were to give up for good.”

Smoking is a dirty, filthy, disgusting, habit. Smokers are selfish they don't care who breaths in there ****. I can't understand why people want to pollute there bodys. They must make it against the law to smoke.
