A CHARITY is opening the doors to a new carers centre on Friday and unpaid carers from across the town are welcome to attend.
The Sankey Street centre will be open from 10am to 2pm and will see the launch of drop-in sessions at the new venue thanks to the charity Wired.
The event will include information stands with useful advice for carers, mini pamper/therapy sessions and health checks.
Readers who look after a relative or friend who needs help because of disability, illness, addiction or age without payment and want to know more about services available to carers in the centre should call 0800 731 6941 or e-mail wcsadults1@wired.me.uk
