i for one, am glad that this free "advertising" was posted, now i have information that gives me a possible job opening, which is much better than the direct gov site, as thats bloody useless!

Many stories on this and other online newspapers are negative and a lot not pleasant to read. Then we get a story with a positive nature and the first comment makes 6-7 negative comments about it. I think by the comments after the first shows that most see this as a good thing.

I, like most, will accept that this work is not ideal for someone seeking full time employment, but surely it is better than nothing? If some secured one of these positions, but was ‘sacked off at the end of the season’, are they worse off? For someone who has not worked for a number of months, this will bring their CV up to date and might make the difference of being taken on elsewhere, as they will have proven that they can and are willing to work.
its hardly news, its just publicity, that place does the same very year for the season then sacks them off at the end of the season. its not new jobs, its insecurity feeding on the desperate for minimum wage..I bet they rang you to let you "publish" their great news. nice free advertising.
