Brother and sister sold illegal steroids at gym
A BROTHER and sister have escaped a prison sentence after selling illegal steroids to professional body builders at their Latchford Gym.
David and Tracey Pritchard run the Hard Labour gym on Grange Avenue where steroids worth £15,000 were found by police.
Earlier this month Warrington Crown Court heard how a small room there was used as a ‘shop’ for the class C drug.
Mr Pritchard, aged 43, of Partington Square, Runcorn, sold them to competitive body builders.
He was sentenced to 15 months in prison, suspended for two years, and told to do 160 hours unpaid work.
Mrs Pritchard, aged 48, of Epping Drive, Woolston would sell them to ‘anybody’, the court heard.
She was sentenced to 14 months in prison, suspended for two years, and told to do 140 hours unpaid work.
Both had pleaded guilty to possession of a class C drug with intent.

Why was the sentence suspended? A bit more in depth reporting would be good. She sold to anyone, it says, so surely her crime was more heinous. When one of these sted heads has a rage and commits a crime they should also be culpable. It's all laughable. Just imagine them 10 minutes later in a bar celebrating and boasting. No mention of a fine either. "Naughty people, don't do it again and have a nice day"
